At some point, all beekeepers find themselves in a situation where they have to deal with wonky comb. This might be due to "cutting out" a wild hive or from a problem with frames/foundation in kept hive. The old method of securing wonky or cut-out comb into frames usually involves rubber bands. This can be challenging. Our Wonky Comb Home uses two smartly designed, laser cut sheets of thin (1/8") plywood. These sheets are easily secured on by rubber bands or screws. Spacers are also provided to accommodate thicker comb. Once all the assorted sizes of cut out comb are placed strategically within the frame, it will stay in place for as long as needed while the bees "build it out". At that point, the Wonky Comb Home sheets can be easily removed and reused. Patent Pending
